RCLI is a group of people from churches across the region who are motivated by our Christian faith to work toward a healthy, thriving metro Richmond. Our names is short for the Richmond Christian Leadership Initiative – but our friends just call us RCLI.

How did it start? Good question.

In the mid-200s, a group of friends started meeting in and living rooms, and coffee shops, praying and thinking. The hope? Launching an organization to train Christian professionals and leaders.

In 2007, RCLI was born. The first class of emerging leaders entered the 9-month leadership program. Since then, RCLI has trained over 350 leaders, coming from different churches, backgrounds and professions – from all over the Richmond region.

RCLI offers live events, digital content and our signature leadership program – called the RCLI Fellowship – all to develop and equip Christian leaders.
