The RCLI Fellowship is a nine-month journey of faith, leadership, and civic engagement for the good of metro Richmond.

What’s it all about?

The RCLI Fellowship is a nine-month leadership program designed for emerging, gospel-centered leaders who want to connect their faith with the needs of metro Richmond. Fellows grow in three areas:

  • Spiritual formation: developing habits that shape their walk with God

  • Leadership development: gaining tools for practical, faithful leadership

  • Civic influence: Understanding the history, systems, and challenges of metro Richmond.

The Fellowship meets from September through May. Over 350 leaders have gone through RCLI’s leadership program since 2007.

Who is it for?

The RCLI Fellowship is for emerging leaders who demonstrate leadership potential, are growing in their faith in Christ, and have shown a heart for their community.

We’re looking for people who are hungry for growth. People who want to learn more about God, themselves, and metro Richmond, and connect with others.

How it works

The RCLI Fellowship is a nine month program that runs from September through May. The program’s rhythm and structure are built around our leadership framework: God, Self, and City.

GOD

Spiritual Formation | Small Groups

Fellows meet once a month in small groups to connect, reflect on their Fellowship experiences, and engage a shared spiritual formation curriculum. Groups meet on a weeknight and are guided by a group leader.

SELF

Leadership Development |
Leadership Labs

Monthly weeknight seminars focused on leadership development, calling, and practical leadership skills. Fellows work to discern how God may be leading them in this season of life, and develop practical next steps for responding.

CITY

Civic Influence | Large Group Sessions

Fellows meet once per month on a Saturday. These sessions feature speakers, activities, and site visits focused on major civic issues shaping our region. The weekend sessions in September and May are in-town retreats.

What are the benefits?

During the program experience, Fellows will...

  • Gain knowledge about metro Richmond’s major civic issues

  • Build meaningful, cross-sector relationships with other Christian leaders

  • Establish a Rule of Life for ongoing, sustainable spiritual disciplines

  • Develop practical leadership skills to faithfully pursue their calling

  • Join a growing network of Christian leaders serving Richmond
