The final RCLI ’17 “content” session of the year was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in the East End, addressing the topic of Land Use.  Jennifer Parham (’08) served as session emcee and helped Class members grow their interest in and understanding of the topic.

Throughout the weekend, they heard from insightful presenters (including Councilwoman Newbille, local developers, and Williamsburg’s retired city manager), visited a local site that embodies various and current land use issues, and applied their new knowledge to an in-depth real world activity.

Presenter Kenney Grigg provided important perspective on ‘commitment,’ helping the Class build towards its Committing to the Future closing retreat in May.  That gathering is the only thing that stands between them and the Commissioning service!
