The RCLI ’17 Class year came to a close, at the June 10 Commissioning Service attended by Class members and their friends and families, volunteers, Alumni, and other RCLI friends.  Allan-Charles Chipman, selected by his Classmates to offer reflections on their year, remarked on the need for and call to crucifixion . . . in order for there to be the hope and power of the resurrection.

Jamie Radtke, founder and President of WE Believe, served as the keynote speaker.  She addressed the severe issues facing the millennial Church, and charged the Class with ways to move out and towards these issues in Richmond.

In addition to commissioning the RCLI ’17 Class, we also celebrated 10 years of RCLI.  Board Chair JG Carter took time to review RCLI’s history and growth, milestone achievements, and the people who made it happen–including current and former Board members.  Additionally, he recognized Pastor Don Coleman as an honorary member of the ’17 Class–a result of his long and dedicated history of service to RCLI!

THANK YOU for supporting this year’s Class through prayer, finances, volunteering, or in any other way.  The Commissioning marked the moment of release for these 26 Class members as they step out to lead in their personal, professional, and public places of service across Richmond.
