RCLI is pleased to announce the hire of Gina Maio as RCLI’s Interim Executive Director.
Gina just last month concluded nine years of service as the Head of School for Church Hill Academy (CHA), a private, faith-based high school for under-performing youth living in the East End. [CHA is a part of CHAT, Church Hill Activities and Tutoring; her replacement there is Libby Germer, RCLI ’13.]
Gina is an ordained Presbyterian minister, with prior experience teaching high school for 11 years in Fairfax County and then five years at Riverside Presbyterian in Loudoun County, where she heard the call from God to go to seminary. Her undergraduate degree is from Virginia Tech in marketing and education, her Masters in International Transactions from George Mason University, and her Masters of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary. She is married to Matt (over 25 years) and they have two college age children.
Gina will hold the part-time position of Interim Executive Director until a full-time, long-term Executive Director is identified.
